I’d like you to think of something in your life you’ve wanted or have been excited about (sport, hobby, career) so much so that you’ve been truly tenacious about learning it, you’ve been willing to go through all kinds of trials and tribulations to get good at. Can you think of something? Do you remember the effort that you were willing to invest? That’s the kind of perseverance I want you to apply to your sex life.
Yes, it’s awkward, sometimes, totally mortifying, to talk about sex, but do it anyway. Don’t give up so easy, be willing to feel a little embarrassed and shy. Have the courage to make a fool of yourself. Be playful and tender about it. It will bring so much intimacy and fun to your relationship.
