Many women agreed in a women’s circle I guided, they didn’t need an orgasm to feel satisfied. One woman shared that during the most ecstatic and fulfilling lovemaking she ever had, she did NOT have an orgasm. Yet, that the sweet and powerful feelings she felt in her body made her swoon and feel so very nourished and ecstatic.
In another women’s circle, a young woman described that her husband would insist on her having an orgasm when they made love and that she found it stressful and often counterproductive to her feelings of pleasure. Another woman shared that sometimes she almost felt that trying to come cheapened her otherwise lovely experience and made her more tense and insecure.
