I have a simple rule for long term couples that’ll make it safer to break out of the established status quo of your sex life and embark on a journey of improving your love life: You are not allowed to question why your partner hasn’t told you a certain preference sooner. Don’t make them wrong for not telling you before…Thank them! Be ecstatic that they’re now ABLE to tell you, despite feeling vulnerable. Smile!
And what we like also does change. Our bodies and minds can change as time passes. We may find that we like different things or that our body seems to function differently as we age. This change can be ascribed to different things: Saturn return, child bearing, menopause, mid life crisis; it doesn’t really matter, just accept that we do change. Flow and go with the changes!
